With an extensive and highly equipped workshop, Safenor manages service and maintenance for everything from diving equipment to technologically advanced products.

With significant knowledge in maintenance and repairs, we are able to offer a wide range of services. "We handle everything from diving torches and breathing systems to advanced sewing and textile work," Farnes explains.

Safenor’s mechanical department specialises in breathing systems and pressure testing bottles of all materials, as well as service on firefighting equipment and diving suits."We repair approximately 800 diving suits every year," says Farnes.

Building competence for Quality Assurance

To maintain quality and levels of expertise, Safenor’s staff receive continuous training on new products and technologies.  “We adapt to the products, continuously working to build competence in new areas to ensure that maintenance and repairs are performed to a quality standard as close to the manufacturer’s as possible," says Farnes. One of the goals of new training courses is for Safenor to be educated and certified for a trainer role, enabling us to conduct further courses both externally and internally. This way, we can train customers to perform maintenance themselves, ensuring that the work is done correctly and efficiently.

In this context, Safenor also provides technical support, ensuring that customers receive answers to their inquiries as quickly as possible.

Customer relationships are highly valued by Safenor, fostering close and trusted collaboration. "Many of our customers rely on us to determine whether products should be repaired or discarded. We have a strict, precise control system that accurately reports the type of damage and the repairs performed. Our experience and capability always determine whether repair or replacement is the best option," Farnes explains. "We take pride in acting with integrity and professional competence to maintain this trust."
